Hi!
Lang fest is coming up on Thurs and many of you must be lost about it, let me share with you all the info I got from Mrs Goh from English class. I type everything I copied down.
Day 1
-Your form teachers will group the class into groups of 5
-The whole class goes to a specific location in Singapore(2 Endurance-Bukit Ho Swee)
-Groups are to take photographs based on the keywords given per subject(total of 9 subjects-Mother Tongue, History, Geography, Home Econs, Maths, Science, D&T, Principles of Accounts and Economics)
-3 keywords are allocated to each subect so you have to take a totla of 27 photos
-Along the way back to PHS, stop at a photo booth and develop the best photo for each subject, so you such have developed 9 photos when you reached PHS, the school will provide each group with $4 to develop the photos.
(Homework that day)
-Research on the historical background,cultural background of the place you went during the trip.
-Print it out and submit it on lang fest day 2
-Also, transfer all photos taken into a blank CD-Rom. Bring it on Lang Fest Day 2 for submission.
Day 2
-Design an exhibition board which will be put on display during JJ Fair
-Photo journel(Picasa)
-Submit your photo journel on Term 2 Day 1
-It is also a possibility that we will be allowed to prepare for JJ fair on that day, time will be given from after assembly to 11.30am
